Color selection has become a very important in our home now. Color selection changes our mood such as passion, desire, happiness, peace, hunger, sleep etc…

Colors can be broadly classifies into 3 categories:

Primary color: Red, blue, yellow

Secondary color: Orange, Green, Purple, Violet

Tertiary Color: Red orange, yellow orange, yellow green, blue green, Red violet

And the fourth one is the neutral colors

Neutral colors-Grey, cream, beiges, tans and taupe

 

Red: warm color, exciting and warming.

Associated- hunger, anger, passion and vitality.

Area of use-Restaurant, dining room.

 

Blue: calm, happiness and comfort and very cool color.

Associated-Strength, security and calmness

Area of use-Institution and medical.

 

Yellow: Warm, vibrant and clear.

Associated-Liveliness

Area of use-Living hall and bedroom

 

Green: Vibrant, lively and crispy

Associated- Liveliness

Area of use-Living hall

 

White, pink, lavender, peach, lemon yellow, and lime yellow: Calming and soothing

Area of use-kids plays room

 

Brown: Contemporary look

Area of use-Bed room and living hall
