When I was doing my graduation my friend Sree told me something really weird and strange.
She said one of her acquaintance used to smear blood in her face as a facial pack and let it dry before washing off. It sounded unimaginable at that time to me; well the newer beauty treatments have time and again proven me wrong. Fewer wrinkles, bringing back the youth in you, well even weight loss, these are something people want and are ready to go to any heights to get this. And this is exactly what is promised in the fire facial or the Vampire Facelift, which is gaining popularity in China.
A towel soaked in alcohol and an unknown liquid id placed on your face, things and other parts of body that you need a lift in and set on fire for a few seconds. This, they claim would stimulate the skin and makes it look younger with fewer wrinkles.
2. Bird Poo Facial
Yes! Of course you have read it right, many spas off late have resorted to excreta of nightingale for beauty treatment. The excreta are passed through UV light and impurities are removed. To neutralize the smell rice bran and other additives are used. It is then prepared into a facial format and applied over the face.
It is said that this facial gives your face freshness and removes impurities cleansing your skin. Thus this facial is said to bring back youthfulness to you.
3. Blood Facial or Vampire Facial
This is heights of weirdness which however does not have any medical claim or research findings to help its concept. In this facial a vial of blood is taken from your and centrifuged so as to separate the RBC and plasma. The RBC being heavier settles down and plasma remains in the upper layer.
This plasma is taken and using micro-needles is injected into the skin. It is said that plasma has a similar action as of Botox or other fillers. However the important point here is that, blood plasma helps in filling naturally by inducing protein forming hormones to work better.
Thus you would get rid of excessive wrinkles from your face.
Well, finally I do believe in Sree?s aunt?s bizarre skin treatment. But somehow still wouldn?t personally do any of these treatments, how many of you would like to do them?
