3 Homemade Chia Seeds Face Masks

  • Cleansing Face Mask


How To Prepare : 

  1. Take chia seeds in a glass bowl and add olive oil  freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together.

How To use :

  1. Wash and clean your face with a mild cleanser beforehand to remove any accumulated dirt on the skin surface.
  2. Apply the paste on the face and massage gently for a few minutes.
  3. Leave it for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Rinse with lukewarm water.
  5. Apply a few drops of your regular moisturizer.

How it Works :

Olive oil is carrier oil which is packed with anti-aging antioxidants and hydrating which moisturizes your skin, reduces wrinkles and signs of aging. Lemon Juice contains some properties like astringent and bleaching agent which is seemingly good for skin. Whereas Chia Seeds is rich in fatty acids. All the ingredients clean the skin surface from any blemishes.

  • Exfoliating Face Mask

Ingredients :

  • 4 tbsp SIM Organics Chia Seeds
  • 1 cup Water

How To Prepare :

  1. Take Chia Seeds and grind them in a mixer to obtain its powder form.
  2. Put them in a glass bowl and add water.
  3. Leave it for thirty minutes and you will see a soft paste.

How To Use : 

  1. Apply mask on your face, neck and other areas.
  2. Massage for a few minutes to exfoliate.
  3. Rinse with lukewarm water.

How it Works:

Chia seed is an antioxidant that heals exfoliates and cleans the skin surface.

  • Anti-Aging Face Mask

Ingredients : 

  • 2 tbsp SIM Organics Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Iced Green Tea
  • 1 tbsp Honey

How To Prepare :

  1. In a bowl add  chia seeds, honey and iced green tea.
  2. Leave for fifteen minutes and mix it.

How To Use : 

  1. Apply it on the face and neck.
  2. Leave it for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Rinse with cool water

How it Works:

This mask is rich in vitamin E and hydrating properties that reduce line, wrinkles and shrinks enlarged pores.Also Green tea rich in antioxidants helps to fight against free radicals in the body and soothes irritated skin.

  1. I was actually thinking of doing a facemask tonight as I have some “me time” scheduled. Never thought about an at home chia seeds mask, although I have seen chia face creams. Can`t wait to try the 3rd one.
